A headstrong and courageous young woman in a man's world, Serenity James knows she is barely tolerated in her father's newspaper office. An exclusive story about the dreaded Sea Wolf, however, will earn her the respect she so fervently desires. But she never expected to be kidnapped by the sexy and dangerous brigand whose bold exploits have fired her imagination—or to discover the adventure she's always longed for in Morgan Drake's passionate caress.
This Book 2 of the Sea Wolves pirate book duet from Kinley MacGregor and I remember preferring the first book over this one. Serenity James sneaks in an article about the infamous Sea Hawk captain who is freeing captive American sailors from the British, into her father’s newspaper. When the Sea Hawk finds out about this, he comes looking for her as he doesn’t want his identity known and his many secrets discovered. By a series of events, Serenity ends up on the Black Hawk’s ship and they cannot fight their simmering attraction for one another.
