I requested this out of curiosity….Cooking on Himalayan salt blocks??! Never even heard of it! Apparently it’s really popular in America! If you are a newbie like me, don’t worry, there is a great introduction on the origin of this style of cooking, scientific explanations on how it works, care and cleaning and what to look for when you are ready to buy your own block! Definitely a great help when you have no idea where to begin. The introduction is really written and very educational. Beautiful mouth-watering photos with categorical chapters e.g: Meat, Poultry, Seafood, Dough, Dairy etc. Can’t wait to give this style of cooking a try and buy my own salt block Who wants to look hipster at their next BBQ?
P.S I really want to eat those salty-smoky flavoured walnut chocolate chunk cookies….mmmmmmmm gimme gimme
